Riyadh among world’s top 50 cities, jumps 47 places in Global Cities Index

Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh jumped 47 places in the global cities ranking to rank 50th worldwide among 1,000 cities across 163 countries, according to 2026 Global Cities Index issued by Oxford Economics.

The Global Cities Index evaluates cities across five main pillars and 27 sub-indicators, covering economics, human capital, quality of life, environment and governance. The index provides a comprehensive assessment of cities’ performance and their ability to achieve growth and enhance their appeal to businesses, investors and talent.
